Sugarbush Management
A sugarbush or sugar “orchard” is defined as an aggregate of maple trees occupying a specific area, of sufficient size, that is tapped for maple sap production. Management criteria and needs of sugarbushes differ from forest stands managed for timber, wildlife and other uses.
