Creating access for logging trucks and harvesting equipment on any forestland ownership is essential to implementing silvicultural treatments and forest management efforts. Truck access and a landing area where forest products are aggregated, sorted and piled and subsequently loaded onto trucks is frequently lacking or inadequate. Existing harvesting trails were in many cases poorly designed and located, are not always serviceable and frequently compromise water quality and soil.
A robust access infrastructure consisting of forest access roads, landing(s), and forest trails is essential for efficiently conducting harvests and forest management activities and obtaining optimal stumpage revenues.
The Foresters at Full Circle Forestry, LLC, are capable of locating and designing forest access roads, landings and trails and of coordinating and supervising their construction.
